Title of the paper :
The Shinning By Stephen King Uses Serval Techniques to Bulid Suspense
Abstract:
Stephen Kings novel The Shinings primary goal is to examine the fundamental suspense themes present in the book and establish some broad trends for their growth and distribution. The study begins by giving a theoretical description of suspense before moving on to examine how it is achieved in the novel. To investigate the methods of creating suspense in narrating, a toolbox from narrative theory is utilized. According to how they appear in the book, the analysis demonstrates that The Shinings suspenseful motifs may be classified into three groups subtly developing suspense motifs, climactic suspense motifs, and short incidents of suspense.
