Abstract: India has been Patriarchal society since the time immemorial. The male patriarchy always wants women to be a submissive hence it propound theories and propagate through some iconic characters like Sita, Kannagi, Savitri, etc,. We can trace a kind of exploitation and impartial treatment of women all over the world even irrespective of religions and creeds women are getting exploitation. We can trace this type of impartial treatment in the Bible which considered as the word of god Then the rib which God had taken from man he made into a woman, and he brought her to the man.
