Humanizing Deities The Journey of Shiva in Amish Tripathis The Immortals of Meluha
Abstract:
In the Postmodern perspective, rewriting combines the imitation of art with the rejection of the nature of work in the opposing outlook. . It aims to create a nature work. Rewriting systems do not provide an algorithm for changing one term to another, but a set of possible rule applications. There are many interesting perspectives on the self in Indian myth ranging from the self as eternal servant of God to the self as being identified with God. This has been well brought out by Amish in his work The Immortals of Meluha. As an instinctive writer Amish has structured every character and exposed in the novel in a humanistic approach. In his recreation of the story, Amish is contemporary in his out look. This paper is an attempt throws light on the realistic presentation of technology, medicine, the production of Somras, the civilized lifestyle, convincing relations and the journey of a man from a Tibetan tribe to becoming Lord Shiva.
