Volume IV Issue I January-March 2024
Name of Author :
Cinzia Gopurathingal
Title of the paper :
Democracy Confined to the Privileged and Blinded by the Indian Judiciary and Media: An Insight to Indias Major Sensational Issues
Abstract:
Democracy is defined as the government by the people but today in India we need to analyze the meaning of democracy in depth. In my view point democracy means that everyone in the country gets the right to choose a government or oppose the government irrespective of any factors. This paper provides an insight into the workings of the Indian judiciary and the media today. We have always seen the judiciary and the media as the epitome of justice but today we can see that it has lost its value. India is a country which is capable of becoming one of the best countries in the world if the judiciary and the media are ready to create new changes. Everyone in this country has equal rights no matter who they are and where they are from. So, this paper aims to bring out the facts behind the sensational events that took place in India over the past years.
