Title of the paper :
Literary Devices Employed in Sudha Murty’s The Magic of the Lost Temple
Abstract:
In this research paper, the researcher points out the various literary devices employed like, analepsis, imagery, fantasy, colloquialism, and local color writing in Sudha Murty’s novel The Magic of the Lost Temple. Literary devices are techniques that writers use to create a special and pointed effect in their writing, to convey information, or to help readers understand their writing on a deeper level. Firstly, the researcher is of the view that Sudha Murty employs analepsis in her fiction The Magic of the Lost Temple. Generally speaking, analepsis is also known as flashback. Analepsis or flashback is an occurrence in which a character remembers an earlier event that happened before the current point of the story.
