Abstract:
This article examines the psychological trauma of the protagonist of Ben Okris The Famished Road in the hallucinating world of images, as well as a comparison of the psychological disturbance of COVID patients and the struggle of illusion in Ben Okris imaginary world. It tries to draw parallels between the protagonists life and the traumatic experiences of people today as a result of the onset of the pandemic COVID 19. It also discusses the political problems in African society and compares colonized countries to pandemic-affected countries, demonstrating the exact situation of the people and their psyche. The Azaro familys economic situation is compared to the current situation in the COVID-19 pandemic world. This COVID-19 situation is a curse on human society, and it will have to do with the protagonists psyche and how this society will make this curse as a gift because it is the most expensive disaster in human society.
