Portraying Inter Caste Religion in Chetan Bhagats The Girl in Room 105
Abstract:
Chetan Bhagats novel The Girl In Room 105 presents Zara, a Muslim girl the protagonist participating the debate competition titled Public should display of religion be banned or not. This paper portrays a heated argument regarding this issue between Zara and Inder. Zara doesnt abide by any religious practices. This leads to fall in love with Keshav, a Hindu Brahmin boy. But either of their family are strictly adhered to religious practices and casteism. Hence resulting in disapproval of their marriage.
