Portraying Racism between Black and White in Zadie Smiths on Beauty
Abstract:
Zadie Smiths novel On Beauty describes the two families clash and their different lives. This paper portrays the lives of a mixed race between Black and White people. The one main character Howard, a white socio-economic class liberal man type of labour London who had enemy namely Monty was Caribbean family, working as a Black conservative professor in Wellington College. They had clash between liberal and conservative academic values.
