Abstract: The expansion of power positions due to the growing activities of the democratic institutions like Panchayat Raj and development planning, a new class of leaders was created everywhere.” In this class certain leaders took the initiative to develop their own areas. As a result, several changes took place and are continuing to take place in the economic, political and social life of the people in their areas. The political leaders have not only caused tremors in the traditional social structure but also improved the economic conditions of the villages. Our contention is that dynamic political leadership has made an impact on the economic development of the people. This is the genesis of the problem, which we propose to study.
