Title of the paper :
English Literary Trends and Challenges with Focus on the Works of J.K.Rowling
Abstract:
The issues and new tendencies in English literature and language studies are discussed in this essay. Many new trends have already formed, including those for graphic novels, six-word novels, micro fiction, and flash fiction. Looking at patterns helped people write more easily, but it also diminished the value of language. Grammar and research have also lost their historical significance. The way people read and write about literature is changing as a result of blogging, twittering, microblogging, and 6-word novels. Therefore, while some literary purists believe that these new tendencies are degrading to the classics and the traditional ethics of literature, find them stimulating and exciting. The internet, e-books, and social media are displacing linear, lonely, and closed reading in favour of new trends, which are changing how literature is produced, understood, and read. Hypertext, blogs, and other contemporary developments are also covered. A literary trend is thus something to which an author adheres and which reflects the overall notion of the time period in which they are writing in terms of form, ideas, subjects, and language. A useful skill, literature reflects on societal norms, cultural ethos, values, beliefs, and traditions. It has made it possible for a significant portion of the population to learn about both historical and contemporary events. Literature may likewise encourage people to use their imaginations, study, and reflect on themselves and others. Through literature, we can reflect on reality while also viewing it as a work of art or a starting point for novel concepts.
