Title of the paper :
Man- Nature Relationship in Ruskin Bonds Tiger, Tiger, Burning Bright
Abstract:
Ruskin Bond, a prominent Indian writer in English, is renowned worldwide as a nature writer for his charming depiction of the wonder and beauty of the Himalayan foothills. Nature is not merely a backdrop in the short stories of Ruskin Bond but reveals the great proximity between man and nature. Bond strongly advocates a harmonious relationship between man and nature for maintaining ecological balance, and his short - story Tiger, Tiger, Burning Bright delineates the miserable condition of our national animal-the Tiger in particular and the wildlife in general. The natural privacy of animals always gets disturbed either by human habitation or hunters. The present paper will explore the various relationships between man and nature and will also try to illuminate that everything is connected and destruction of one element of earth destroys the entire universe through the standpoint of ecocriticism.
