Title of the paper :
Water in the Bible, a weapon of Gods wrath and the vehicle of His miracles
Abstract:
Water has been frequently employed in the Holy Scriptures of the Jews and the Christians. Torah, the most important book of the Jews, is also the first five books of the Christian Bible. Collectively, be it the Jewish scriptures or the Bible, water has always had its significance. Moreover, the symbol of water is paradoxical in the scriptures as it is popularly known, God destroyed Noah’s world using water but in the New Testament, He uses Water as the object on which, He lavishes His miracles. Water has a paradoxical meaning in the Bible. It acts as God’s judgment in the Old Testament and the New Testament, it turns out to be the most important material of his miracles. This paper aims to show the relationship and the significance of Water in the Holy Bible.
