Abstract: Females are the pioneers of a civilized society and are known for sacrifice, love and strength. An empowered woman is always progressive, liberal in thoughts and full of self esteem. She values herself and provides the world a new way of thinking and the way to act accordingly. No doubt a woman is always the victim of the brutality and cruelty of men and has been subjugated over years. Females are struggling every day and in every sphere of life but now conditions are changing day by day. Women are designing and framing a new world of their own ambitions and opportunities by transforming themselves with education, wisdom and courage. Literature interprets the true meaning of life and nurture the world with the imaginations and power of words. Literature is a reflection of cultural, social and intellectual realities of life. In every sphere of life women are doing very well but inspite of all their achievements, nobody acknowledges them. Our Patriarchal society and norms crush all fundamental rights of women. A male writer can’t present ‘female perspectives’ truly because everything will be assumed with imagery, on the contrary a woman writer will present everything by her own experiences and real life incidents. A female sees the entire world with different lens. Dr. Disha Khanna is a poet and highly intellectual, multitalented personality, full of self esteem and courage. She is a Professor in the university. She is the writer of new age who touches the cord of youth. My present paper delves deep into the sea of ‘new phase of women revival’ through Disha Khanna’s poetic work ‘And Hence The Phoenix Rose’.
