Abstract:
The paper entitled Serial killing An Act of Psychological Exasperation in Robert Galbraiths The Cuckoos Calling deals with parents showing partiality towards children in expressing parental love and its consequences. Mental instability, an outcome of experiencing partiality lead the victims towards jealousy and obsession. The author of the novel The Cuckoos Calling, portrays a child who receives the least attention from his family that has created a long-term envy deep inside his heart. This unfair expression of love takes him through the dark side of his life and turns his life into a mess. The present paper examines the childhood experience of the individual and its impact in his life thereafter. The life of the antagonist turns into a mess because of the exasperation he feels with the unfair love expression.
