Abstract: Ignoring is a common phenomenon in the modern world. None is ready to listen to the words of others. Everyone is concerned of their ownself. The time to shed tears to the feelings of others is not there in ones life. The act ignoring is somehow present in everyones life. This paper aims to discuss the psychological cause of ignoring through the short stories Assault and Misery.
