Title of the paper :
A Study on Survival Skills and Existential Dilemmas in Daniel Defoes Robinson Crusoe
Abstract:
As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being C.G. Jung. Existentialism has been the most famous theme used by the writers of literature. The term existentialism refers to a philosophical movement that emerged in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and focused on issues related to the human condition. Existentialism centrally covers the quest for meaning in a human beings life. These considerations will include notions of self-identity, the limits of reason and rationality, the role of emotions and passions, the role of religion and faith, human freedom, self-estrangement, anxiety and fear, death, and the relation of self to other human beings. In other words, every human tries to define lifes meaning and create rational and irrational ideologies in the existing world. It also questions faith in religion and livingness and states that human beings are chained by social norms and terms about their likes and dislikes. But Existentialism breaks everything it states that every individual is entirely free in this world and can choose anything and everything they want in life. Existentialism mainly breaks down the core idea of social and religious norms.
