Abstract:
Sacrifice of Infants was very common in the name of Witch. When the world looked Witch as evil, here there is Witch Xan who takes away all the children that are sacrificed and grow them by calling them as star children. The popular culture of Japan is analysed in the paper. It focuses on the elements like Witch, swamp monster, dragon and the paper birds. These mythical elements are popular in many cultures. They are acknowledged as something that would do good or bad to the society. Moon and stars play the major role in the culture of Japan. It also focuses on Luna, the child who drank the moon and got its magic and becomes the bridge between the magical world and the non-magical world.
