Title of the paper :
Journey from Alienation to Self-Realization: A Trans Woman’s Plight in Outspoken
Abstract:
The transgender group has historically been a marginalized group, and although today transgender people are more accepted by society, many health and mental health professionals either do not have knowledge or positive attitudes and do not believe that they are qualified to provide care services to transgender people and therefore avoid doing so. While in LGBT, trans prejudice is clearly higher among females than males and heterosexuals, there is also evidence that transgender people may be marginalized within the LGBT community when they violate traditional gender roles. Julia Serano is an Oakland, California-based writer, performer, biologist, and activist. She chronicles her own personal evolution and the many transgender activism movements in her third work Outspoken A Decade of Transgender Activism and Trans Feminism. This paper deals with the hardest part of trans to take the life as per their wish and also about the pathetic plight of trans women who are doubly marginalized, when the whole world thinks that femininity is always lower than masculinity.
