Title of the paper :
Religious Animosity as manifested in the novel the bellboy by Anees Salim
Abstract:
The paper entitled Religious Animosity as Manifested in the novel the bellboy by Anees Salim explores the profound animosity and deep seated resentment experienced by minority groups towards other majority religious group. Religion is rooted in specific beliefs, customs, and traditions, often fosters a sense of animosity towards different faiths. This sense of religious identity is manipulated by political figures to exploit minority communities and they hinders their personal growth and advancement within society. Consequently, minorities feels themselves marginalized socially and economically, leads to the identity crises and discrimination. In such isolated circumstances, individuals experience insecurity among the majority population, which raises doubts about their own capabilities. The greediness and unchecked actions of the majorities turn the lives of minorities into targets for unjust acts. As a result of ongoing hardships and struggles, individuals develop a deep-seated hatred for others and profound sense of isolation.
