Title of the paper :
Understanding the Intricate Dynamics of Syrian Civil War: A Critical Reading of Burning Country Syrians in Revolution
Abstract:
Autocracies have existed as long as the history of mankind. Most nations of the world have been under direct or indirect dictatorial rule at some point in their history. The Syrian civil war stands as a vivid testament to the consequences of authoritarian rule and the resilience of human spirit in the face of oppression. Syria has been embroiled in one of the most enduring civil wars in history. Millions of people displaced and hundreds of thousands of deaths, the Syrian Civil War has had a devastating impact on Syria. Burning Country Syrians in Revolution co authored by Robin Yassin- Kassab and Leila Al Shami shed light on the events that led up to the rise of the civil war in Syria. The role of demography in shaping the dynamics of the Syrian Civil War stands as the central theme. The book provides a comprehensive and first-hand account of the Syrian uprising, offering valuable insights into the complex socio-political dynamics that led to the conflict.
