Title of the paper :
Communication Skills Adaptability
Abstract:
Communication that adapts to the particular needs of the relationship or situation at hand. It is something that you apply to your own behaviours, attitudes, and habits more so than to those of other people. The strategic improvements that must be made will differ depending on the situation at hand. Whether or not to use particular strategies for adaptation depends on the environments you may decide to be flexible with one individual but not with another. You have the freedom to be more flexible with one person today and less flexible with the same person tomorrow. Adaptability has to do with how you control your own actions. It entails changing your own conduct to put others at ease around you and in the situation at hand. Adaptability of communication in the learning environment is an essential skill that all EFL learners must acquire. It is an individuals ability to flexibly adapt to changing learning conditions with a variety of learners from different cultures. This is an important aspect of intercultural communication competency ICC and an evolving area of interest. This hermeneutic approach to intercultural competence leads to a number of empirical responses, especially in medical healthcare practice where communicative adaptability, a component of intercultural communicative competence, is a valuable tenet. On the other hand, communication ability, which is an important factor determining the ICC level, is associated with communication anxiety Spott, 2011, self-esteem Sung He, 2010, communication effectiveness Ang, 2013, and perception. Unravelling the charm Spitzburgh, 2013.
