Title of the paper :
Language Acquisition in Multilingual Contexts
Abstract:
Communities now interact with one another more frequently as a result of globalization, which has made multilingual communication skills necessary. Multilingual encounters have increased as a result of developments like migration, diaspora groups, transnational relations, and digital communication. Our multilingual and mutually dependent societies are a fact that cannot be denied. A language instructor emphasizes significant facets of the language being studied while also viewing language as a communication facilitator. Thus, language serves as a medium for interaction and communication as well as a subject of instruction. Noam Chomskys nativist theory, LAD ,Universal grammar etc. from Syntactic Structures provide us proper base for this topic .So we can apply Translanguaging, multilingual approach, constructive approach etc. to implements as teaching strategies to face with multilingual communities. Teachers should embrace this diversity and create a classroom environment those values and celebrates different languages and cultures. Teachers can use students native languages as a resource to support language learning. For example, they can encourage students to make connections between their native language and the target language, or they can use translation exercises to help students understand new vocabulary or grammar concepts.
