Title of the paper :
Words of Wisdom: An Approach to The Study of World Literature
Abstract:
In recent times national borders have become ineffectual and literature never cease to be confined within a national space and borders, though space and border corroborate each other. Without border there is no space and without space there is no border. The decolonization has initiated and hastened the process of autonomy of the colonized states. It has also caused an impact on the people who have been migrated as indentured labourers to make an eternal journey to return to their homelands. When it becomes impossible they become nostalgic and have created diasporic literature, which crosses the border to reach a different space of their living. The postcolonial studies has gained significance in a specific way of plotting literature as a translational product. The English language has gone into pieces like American English, Australian English, Canadian English and Indian English so on. The regional literature has gained the universal significance and acceptance. The connoisseurs of English writing have come from the periphery countries other than Britain which was once considered as the centre of the world.
