An Overview of Spirituality and Faith in Barbara Kingsolver’s The Poisonwood Bible
Abstract:
Barbara Kingsolver is a renowned American novelist, essayist, and an environmental activist known for her eloquent exploration of social, environmental, and cultural issues. Her work The Poisonwood Bible is known for its vivid storytelling with poignant themes, earning her critical acclaim and a devoted readership worldwide. The story is about an overzealous Baptist minister Nathan Price who drags his wife Orleanna and four daughters to Congo on a mission to save the unenlightened souls of Africa.
