Title of the paper :
Body as a Conduit of Diasporic Delineation: A Holistic Appraisal of the Movie Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life
Abstract:
According to Kevin Kenny, Diaspora is best approached not as a social entity that can be measured but as an idea that helps explain the world migration creates. As a concept, diaspora produces powerful insights into that world, but it can also produce some powerful distortions, depending on how the term is used and for what purpose21. Aadujeevitham, the malayalam movie of 2024, which was crowned with glory by the masses and a product of Director Blessys sixteen years of contemplations, is the latest example of the nuances of film and diaspora. The study of the body in the context of diaspora examines the complex relationship between bodily subsistence and personal identity in the context of translocation and repositioning. The study explores the interaction between embodiment and self perception as the subject subdues the challenges of migration and assimilates into the novel cultural tapestry.
