Title of the paper : One Pot synthesis of Antimony III Chloride

Abstract: A simplistic process is designed for the synthesis of antimony III chloride SbCl3 by the treating antimony trioxideSb2O3 with excess of thionyl chloride SOCl2, where thionyl chloride acts both as reagent and solvent. The white crystalline moisture sensitive antimony trichloride so obtained have been characterized by elemental analyses Sb Cl, molecular weight determinations and by mass spectroscopy.
