Title of the paper :
Biocatalytic Approach towards Synthesis of Enantiopure Compounds
Abstract:
Both chemistry and biology face significant research problems as a result of worldwide demands for clean manufacturing techniques, as well as the management of dangerous substances and waste. Despite the fact that significant progress has been made by developing cheaper and more versatile chemical catalysts and optimising reaction media, combining biocatalysis with modern chemical research results in cost-effective synthesis, reduced waste streamssynthetic steps, improved stereoselectivityregioselectivity, and mild reaction conditions. During a screening procedure at the Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine in Jammu, a strain with esteraselipase activity known as ABLMTCC No. 5125 was identified. ABL-catalyzed reactions are more selective than many commercial lipases, according to extensive study. The stereoselective hydrolase has a wide range of substrate acceptance, therefore it has a lot of potential as a stereoselective hydrolase.
